Job Overview
- Location: Apple Valley, California
- Employment type: Travel/Contract

- Shift: Night, 5x8
- Hours: 40 per week

- On-call: Required
- Float: Required between main OR and pavilion (operating surgery center)
- Availability: Variable availability required; position will mostly cover 19:00–03:30 and 21:30–06:00 shifts
Required Qualifications
- Sterile Processing Technician with 5 years of experience
- Sterile Processing Technician experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
- CBSPD or HSPA certification
- Experience in an Acute Care setting
- Experience in Supervisory roles
- 3 years of shift lead, precepting, or team lead experience in a hospital setting
- On-call availability
- Ability to float between main OR and pavilion (OP surgery center)
- Da Vinci Xi experience
- Getinge Autoclave experience
- Amsco Autoclave experience
- Steris V-Pro experience
- Steris System 1e experience
- Triton 72 ultrasonic cleaner experience
Key Job Expectations
- Work primarily independently
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills required
- Weekend coverage may exceed every other weekend based on unit needs
- Scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be considered
