Overview

  • Location: Dallas, Texas
  • Employment type: Travel/Contract
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
  • Hours: 40 per week
  • Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Texas
  • Med Surg experience within the last year
  • 1 year of Med Surg experience
  • CPR issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Wound Care experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer hyperbaric oxygen therapy as prescribed
  • Prepare patients for treatment and monitor safety during treatment and transport
  • Document treatment details, wound care visits, and patient tolerance in the medical record
  • Operate and maintain hyperbaric chambers and related equipment
  • Clean treatment rooms and chambers
  • Provide patient education related to hyperbaric therapy
  • Support wound care center activities as needed

  • References required prior to start
  • Work history verification for the last 7 years
  • Background check required within 30 days of start
  • Education verification required
  • Physical exam required prior to start and annually thereafter
  • Tdap documentation or declination required
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray required
  • TB questionnaire required annually
  • Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella immunization or immunity documentation required
  • Drug testing required prior to first assignment
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or declination required during flu season
  • Orientation safety manual acknowledgement required
