Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Columbia, Missouri
- Outpatient clinic procedure nurse, mostly urology and plastics procedures
- Day shift: 5x8 hours, 8:00–16:30
- 40 hours per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- No locals within 50 miles
- First-time travelers are accepted
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Missouri
- Ambulatory Care (1 year of experience)
- Ambulatory Care experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- NURSYS verification
- Photo ID card
- Proof of E-Verify or attestation
- 7-year background check
- EPLS/GSA/SAM check
- HHS/OIG check
- Missouri MO EDL search results
- Missouri MO FCSR search results or Missouri Caregiver Background Screening results
- Negative drug screen within 60 days of start
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Fit mask test within 1 year of start
- Tdap within 10 years of start or approved exemption
- Negative TB test or chest x-ray
- Measles, mumps, rubella immunity or vaccination documentation
- Hepatitis B immunity or vaccination series
- Varicella immunity or vaccination documentation
- Flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
- 2 professional references within the last 2 years
- Skills checklist
- Resume with 7 years of employment history, all gaps accounted for, education details, and valid phone number and email address
Additional Job Details
- Rotating shifts, holidays, weekends, and inclement weather coverage may be required
- Ability to take call is required
- Must be able to work at least 50% of holidays during the contract
- Must be able to work the assigned location throughout the full contract term
- Must be able to work the substantial time of the assigned shift
- Physical demands include ambulating, reaching, and moving objects over 20 lbs
- Role involves routine contact with patients who may have contagious illnesses
