Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool

Role Overview

Pediatric Critical Care FP with strong PICU experience required.
Float scope includes NICU, PICU, and CVPICU.
Start date: ASAP.
Shift options: Day (3x12) 7:00–19:30 or Night (3x12) 19:00–7:30.
Employment type: Travel/Contract.
Contract length: 13 weeks.
First-timers accepted.
Locals accepted.
Pending license accepted.
Weekend requirement: every other weekend; blocked weekend scheduling is also open.
On-call not required.
Ratios: 1:1 or 1:2; if floated to NICU, ratio could be 1:3.
Guaranteed hours: 48 hours, with no overtime until after 48 hours.
RTO restriction: up to 7 days maximum; if taking 1 consecutive week, an extra week must be added to the end of the contract.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in District of Columbia
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Critical Care Float (2 years of experience)
Critical Care Float experience within the last year
PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care experience
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience
CVPICU experience
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
