Med Surg Pediatric RN

Overview

  • Travel/Contract role in Kansas City, Missouri
  • Night shift: 4x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
  • 13-week contract
  • 18-bed pediatric unit

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Missouri
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Pediatric Med Surg experience within the last year
  • 1 year of Pediatric Med Surg experience
  • 1 year or more of total travel experience
  • Med Surg experience
  • Behavioral Health experience
  • Pediatrics experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Pediatrics experience

Unit Details

  • Short-stay pediatric unit with two distinct sides
  • Cares for patients with appendectomies, tonsil and adenoidectomies, viral illnesses, ingestions requiring medical clearance, and behavioral health concerns with underlying medical needs

Additional Notes

  • RQI certifications are not accepted
  • AHA courses/certifications need to be scheduled at time of job acceptance
  • Documents are due by end of day Tuesday prior to start
