IMCU- 5th Floor unit Step down

Role Overview

Travel/contract RN role in Utica, New York.
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 18:30–7:00.
36 hours per week.
IMCU is staffed at 4:1 depending on acuity; may be 5:1 if acuity is lower.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New York.
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
Stepdown experience with 2 years of experience.
Stepdown experience within the last year.
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
NIHSS.
Experience with titratable drips (neo up to 100, precedex, insulin).
Experience with the care and management of invasive lines (A lines, TR bands).
Experience with post-operative recovery.
Stroke experience.
Pre/Post Cath Lab experience.
Experience with Epic.

Preferred Qualifications

None stated.

Additional Requirements

RTO must be 7 days or less and only 1 holiday.
Local candidates are accepted at a local rate.
Must complete required onboarding, background, health, competency, and facility documents before start.
