Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Chesapeake, Virginia
- Inpatient pharmacy setting
- Schedule includes weekdays, some weekends, and overnight shifts
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid Hospital Pharmacist license in Virginia
- Hospital Pharmacist experience within the last year
- 1 year of experience as a Hospital Pharmacist
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
- Experience in an inpatient setting
- IV admixture/IV pharmacy experience
- Patient-controlled analgesia (PCA)
- Antibiotic management
- Drug interaction review
- Medication order entry
- Medication order verification
- Experience with Epic
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous travel experience
- Chemotherapy experience
- Anticoagulation management
- Pharmacokinetic dosing
- Renal dosing
Compliance Notes
- Candidates with any license or background hits will not be considered
- Submission must include a completed Qualivis Cover Sheet, current NURSYS report, and all requested time off listed on the Qualivis Cover Sheet
