Job Overview

  • Travel/contract role in Charlottesville, Virginia
  • 13-week assignment
  • Day shift: 4x10s, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM
  • Rotating call every 4th week
  • 50-mile radius rule applies

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Virginia
  • Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
  • 1 year of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • ARRT
  • Experience with Epic

Role Responsibilities

  • Support imaging in the OR for vascular interventional radiology cases
  • Pull inventory and order cases before procedures
  • Run the table and controls during cases
  • Perform 3D spins and use fusion technology
  • Film and post-process images during procedures
  • Document and add inventory used during cases
  • Work closely with vascular surgeons, OR staff, and other procedural team members
  • Support simple surgical cases with a C-arm during downtime, including Impellas and cystos
