Interventional Radiology

Job Overview

Travel/contract role in Charlottesville, Virginia
13-week assignment
Day shift: 4x10s, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM
Rotating call every 4th week
50-mile radius rule applies

Required Qualifications

Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Virginia
Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
1 year of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ARRT
Experience with Epic

Role Responsibilities

Support imaging in the OR for vascular interventional radiology cases
Pull inventory and order cases before procedures
Run the table and controls during cases
Perform 3D spins and use fusion technology
Film and post-process images during procedures
Document and add inventory used during cases
Work closely with vascular surgeons, OR staff, and other procedural team members
Support simple surgical cases with a C-arm during downtime, including Impellas and cystos
