Respiratory Therapist

Job Overview

• Travel/contract role in Camden, Arkansas
• 13-week assignment
• Day shift, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
• Rotating schedule: one week 36 hours (Tuesday–Thursday), next week 48 hours (Tuesday–Friday)
• May need to work nights, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM, as needed for staffing
• Weekend, holiday, and on-call expectations are not otherwise specified
• No holiday RTO

Required Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Arkansas
• Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
• 1 year of Respiratory Therapist experience
• BLS issued by American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or United States Department of Defense
• ACLS issued by American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or United States Department of Defense
• Government-issued photo ID required
• Proof of E-Verify or attestation required
• Highest level of educational diploma required
• 2 clinical references required

Compliance / Screening

• Background check required, including criminal, SS trace, counties, nationwide, sex offender, and FACIS level 3 components
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start and at each renewal/extension
• State criminal search required
• Physical exam required annually
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray required within 1 year of start and updated annually
• Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella immunity documentation required
• 9-panel drug screen required within the last 12 months
• Flu vaccination required during flu season; if declined, mask use is required for the duration of the contract

Additional Notes

• The role covers ER patients and occasional observation patients
• The therapist will be the only clinician working the shift
• EMR/system used: HMS/MedHost
