Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Overview

Travel/contract role in Oakland, California
13-week assignment
Night shift, 3x12 hours
36 hours per week
Intermittent weekend coverage
No on-call
Expected to work 2 of 3 upcoming major holidays

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
PALS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

BSN
TNCC
CPI
MAB

Schedule

3 shifts per week, 12 hours each
Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

EPLS/GSA/SAM check
HHS/OIG check

Orientation safety manual acknowledgement
Physical exam
Fit mask testing
Tdap within 10 years of start or signed declination

Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity or vaccination documentation
Hepatitis B immunity documentation or declination
Oral saliva drug screen
Medical and employee information release form
Flu vaccination or declination during flu season
Color blind exam
Employment application
Work history verification for the past 3 years

Onsite flu vaccination is available at some locations, but may be at additional cost if applicable to the traveler’s situation
