Overview

Travel/contract role in Glen Burnie, Maryland
Day shift: 3x12 hours, 8:00 AM–8:30 PM
36 hours per week
Contract length: 12 weeks
Start date: 09/28/26
Patient population: Adult to geriatrics
Ratio: 1:4, up to 5 with lower acuity
Unit size: 28 rooms

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Maryland
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Cardiac Stepdown experience within the last year
2 years of Cardiac Stepdown experience
One completed travel assignment
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
CPI
Experience with Epic

Schedule Expectations

Every other weekend required
Holidays required as scheduled
Floating required within the specialty and to like/lower acuity units
No pre-scheduled on-call shifts

Clinical Focus

Stepdown cardiac/telemetry care
Common diagnoses include CHF, MI, pre/post cardiac cath, TAVR, CVA, COPD, diabetes, and respiratory failure

Additional Notes

EPIC familiarity is required
Navy blue scrubs required
