Job Overview
- Travel/contract RN position in Columbia, South Carolina
- Night shift: 3x12s, 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
- Every other weekend required
- On-call required: 2 twelve-hour shifts in a 6-week period
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- First-time travelers accepted
- Local candidates accepted on a case-by-case basis
- Block scheduling may be approved by management depending on unit needs
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in South Carolina
- Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- AWHONN Beginner or AWHONN Intermediate
- FHM
- NRP issued by American Academy of Pediatrics
- EFM issued by AWHONN
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with Epic
Preferred Qualifications
- AWHONN Advanced
- STABLE
- Comfort with couplet care or transition nursery
- Epic experience
Work Setting
- Acute care hospital
- May be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season
Additional Notes
- Scrubs provided
- Free parking with pass at start date
- Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
- All requested time off must be submitted at time of application
- Required onboarding items include background screening, references, skills checklist, employment history verification, physical exam, TB screening, drug screen, immunization documentation, respirator clearance, and completion of facility onboarding forms and modules
