Overview

• Travel/Contract RN role in Antioch, California
• Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:30
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• Telemetry (1 year of experience)
• Telemetry experience within the last year
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience with cardiac or critical care drips
• Experience with titratable or cardiac IV medications
• Ability to read and interpret telemetry rhythms, including recognition of common arrhythmias (A-fib, A-flutter, SVT, VT, PVCs, PACs) and identification of rate, rhythm, intervals, and clinical significance

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN

Role Details

• Responsible for assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care in an acute patient setting
• Provides direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care
• Works in an assigned area delivering holistic, individualized care
