Required Experience

• Minimum 1 year experience as an X-Ray Tech or CT Tech
• Experience with GE equipment and PACS required
• Experience with Meditech EMR preferred

Schedule

• 3/2 split shift rotation
• Alternating 10-hour shifts (12:00 PM – 10:30 PM) and 12-hour shifts (10:00 AM – 10:30 PM)
• 36 to 44 hours per pay period
• Every other weekend required
• Float within scope of practice required

Required Certifications and Licenses

• ARRT certification
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred (AHA only)
• National certification verification prior to start (as applicable)
• State professional license preferred with primary source verification prior to start

Required Documentation and Compliance

• Unexpired government-issued photo ID (e.g., driver’s license or state ID)
• Background check including national criminal search, sex offender registry, fugitive database, county searches for last 7 years, and other federal/state databases; annual update required
• Drug testing within 30 days of start (9-panel with expanded opiates and oxycodone, no THC)
• Physical exam within 1 year prior to start, signed by MD, DO, PA, or NP, stating clear to work without restrictions
• Immunizations and health requirements:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (valid within 10 years; declinations accepted if within 1 year)
  • Negative TB test (QuantiFERON blood test within 1 year; T-Spot/PPD not accepted)
  • TB questionnaire and chest X-ray if positive TB history
  • Proof of 2 MMR vaccinations or positive titers for measles, mumps, and rubella
  • Hepatitis B series, titer, or declination (declination must be within 1 year)
  • Proof of 2 varicella vaccinations or positive titer
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption (must apply within 48 hours of offer acceptance)
• Fit mask test completed onsite (PAPRs not accommodated; exemptions reviewed onsite)
• Annual physical and health document updates required
• Employee health attestation and compliance with facility-specific health protocols

Competency Requirements

• Medication test/pharmacology competency exam
• Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam (within 1 year, updated annually)
• Core competency exams (Parts I, II, III)
• Orientation safety manual acknowledgement

References and Verification

• Two professional references within 1 year of start date (one must be a supervisor or higher; charge RN acceptable for one reference)
• Complete application/resume with education and work history
• 7-year work history verification through a third-party vendor or attestation letters if verification attempts fail
• Skills checklist required annually

Requirements/Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Kentucky
• Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year
• Experience as an X-Ray Technician
• ARRT certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
