Travel/contract assignment
13-week contract
36 hours per week
Night shift, 3x12 hours: 18:45–07:15
Floating required to other med/surg units/floors as needed
Every other weekend required
No blocked scheduling
Local candidates accepted

Required qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
2 years minimum nursing experience
1 year or more of total travel experience
1 year of traveler experience
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Must pass EKG testing prior to start

Unit notes

Fast-paced unit
Target ratio is 1:6, with occasional 1:7 due to staffing needs
Patient population includes GI conditions, GI-related blood loss/anemia, infections, renal patients, surgical GI patients, and telemetry monitoring for cardiac rhythms

Orientation and onboarding

36 hours of unit orientation
RTO after booking is not allowed
Additional call-offs or RTO may result in cancellation and DNR status

Work environment

Navy and/or white scrubs
