Registered Nurse (MS/Telemetry) - Travel/Contract

Location: Saint Joseph, Missouri
Shift: Nights, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Facility Overview

• 352 certified beds
• Level II Trauma Center and Level II Stroke Center
• Offers urgent, primary, specialty, and emergency care through hospital and area clinics
• Only tertiary hospital between Kansas City and Omaha
• Charting system: EPIC
• Free parking

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri
• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg / Telemetry nursing experience, with experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Additional Requirements

• Must complete and sign facility-specific documents including Confidentiality Agreement, Code of Conduct, and Orientation Quiz (minimum 84% score) prior to start
• Onsite AVADE training required for certain units if contract is extended beyond initial term (includes online pre-work and in-person skills validation)
• Two professional references within 3 years required
• Employment application, skills checklist, and recent work history verification required

Notes

• Locals within a 50-mile radius may be accepted at a reduced rate
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
• No duplication of certifications or requirements; all must be current and verifiable before start
• Candidate must be prepared for night shift schedule and 36 hours per week workload
