Registered Nurse – MS/Tele | Night Shift | Acute Care Hospital
Specialty: MS/Tele
Shift: Night | 3x12s | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Medical Surgical / Telemetry Registered Nurse for a night shift assignment in an acute care hospital setting. This role involves caring for post-surgical and telemetry patients with a mixed adult population in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a MS/Tele unit
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms
Manage dysrhythmias and telemetry patients
Deliver care for post-surgical CTS and mixed telemetry cases
Float to other telemetry units as needed within scope

Requirements

Active RN license (compact or state-specific per assignment rules)
Minimum 1 year RN experience required
BLS certification required
NIHSS certification required
Must be proficient in:
- Dysrhythmia interpretation
- Dysrhythmia management
- Telemetry/MS patient care
Epic charting experience preferred/required

Schedule & Work Details

Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
3x12-hour shifts (36 hours/week)
Every other weekend required
- Nights may rotate Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday
Floating required within telemetry service line
Clerical support available on day shift only

Compliance & Important Notes

No local candidates within 75-mile radius
Pending license accepted (per state rules)
Must complete compliance within strict deadlines prior to start
No RTO allowed first week of assignment
Max 7 days RTO per contract
Float required within service line

Additional Notes

Strong telemetry and rhythm interpretation skills required
Candidates must be comfortable in acute care hospital environment with mixed medical/surgical population
First-time travelers accepted if experience requirements are met
