X-Ray Tech Travel/Contract Position

Location: Cozad, Nebraska
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
• Shift Options:

  • 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
  • 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
• On-call Requirements:

  • At least 1 weekend call per month
  • 1 night call per week
• Required Experience:

  • Experience with X-Ray, CT, and Mammography

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiology Technician license in Nebraska
• Minimum of 1 year of Radiology Technician experience within the last year
• Experience as an X-Ray Technician
• Experience as a CT Technologist
• Experience as a Mammography Technologist

Health and Compliance Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start date
• Immunizations and titers:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years or declination)
  • Negative TB test (PPD, Quantiferon Gold, or T-spot) within 1 year; if positive, negative chest X-ray within 5 years plus annual TB questionnaire
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) proof of immunity or vaccination per birth year guidelines
  • Hepatitis B (titer, declination, or vaccine series)
  • Varicella immunity or vaccination history
  • Seasonal flu vaccine or declination during flu season (Oct 1 – Mar 31)
• Drug screening: 9-panel drug test within 1 year of start (instant acceptable)

• Annual skills checklist
• Professional references:

  • 2 for travel, allied, or per diem acute care roles
  • 1 for per diem non-acute care roles
