Job Opportunity: RN - ICU (Travel)

Location: Farmington, New Mexico
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Facility Overview

• 198-bed, Level III trauma center
• Services: Medical, surgical, rehabilitation, childbirth center, cancer center, nephrology, pediatric unit, inpatient behavioral health, day surgery, imaging, and lab testing
• Accredited with PCI, Mammography, and Laboratory certifications
• Located in the scenic San Juan River Valley with numerous outdoor recreational opportunities

Position Details

• Department: ICU (Cost Center CC1006)
• Unit: ICU, 14 beds
• Shift: 7 AM - 7 PM
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Patient Ratios: 1:1 and 1:2
• EHR System: Cerner
• Float Requirements: Required to float to other inpatient nursing units
• Patient Population: Adult

Required Qualifications

• License: Registered Nurse (RN) license for New Mexico
• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) – client flexible on this certification
    (All certifications must be through the American Heart Association)
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in ICU or intensive care specialty
• Prior Travel Experience: Not specified / not required

• Must be able to pass Area Specific Competency Exam, Skills Checklist, and Screening Questions
• Option for 36 or 48 guaranteed hours per week
