  • 12-hour day/night rotation
  • Mostly nights
  • Must live at least 50 miles away

Required qualifications

  • Valid RN license in District of Columbia
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
  • Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NRP
  • AWHONN
  • Experience with Cerner

Unit overview

  • Cares for pregnant patients, laboring patients, scheduled procedures, triage cases, and postpartum-related admissions, discharges, transfers, pre-op, and deliveries
  • Uses fetal monitors for documentation and monitoring
