Role Summary

• Provides rehabilitation treatment to improve patient mobility, function, and strength in an outpatient clinic setting.
• Focuses on hand therapy.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in California
• Bachelor's degree in physical therapy
• Physical Therapist experience within the last year
• 1 year of Physical Therapist experience
• BLS
• Experience in Supervisory roles

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients for physical therapy and rehabilitation programs
• Complete evaluations, reports, and discharge summaries in the electronic medical record
• Monitor patient care through treatment and follow-up
• Supervise PT assistants and aides
• Communicate with physicians and other staff to support patient care
• Maintain accurate patient chart documentation and follow-up on prescriptions, test results, and authorizations
• Support scheduling and patient follow-up with front office staff
• Follow HIPAA, OSHA, and applicable federal and state regulations

Physical Requirements

• Able to work on feet and move throughout the day during 8–10 hour shifts
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Able to assist with patient transfers, mobility support, and safe ambulation
