Overview

• Specialty: Cardiovascular ICU nursing
• Location: Neptune, New Jersey
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts
• Weekend requirement: Every third weekend
• Holidays: Not required
• On-call: Not required
• Float requirement: Yes, to other ICUs

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New Jersey
• CVICU (2 years of experience)
• CVICU experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Telemetry Certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Stepdown/surgical nursing experience
• Thoracic nursing experience
• Vascular stepdown nursing experience
• LVAD competency
• Telemetry experience

Clinical Experience / Skills

• Balloon pump
• CCRT
• ECMO devices
• Cardiac outputs
• SWAN
• Chest tubes
• Post-cardiac surgery patients

Preferred Education

• BSN preferred
