Overview
- Location: Butte, Montana
- Schedule: Day shift, 10-hour shifts
- Hours: 40 per week
- Contract length: 12 weeks
Role Summary
- Performs ultrasound procedures to obtain imaging results according to physician specifications.
- May transfer patients and assist with the ultrasound examination process.
Required Qualifications
- Ultrasound Technologist experience within the last year.
- 2 years of general and vascular ultrasound experience (excluding ABIs, segmental pressure, echo, and breast).
- Associate's degree.
- ARDMS.
- BLS issued by American Heart Association.
Key Skills
- Operates ultrasound imaging and related equipment.
- Educates, positions, and immobilizes patients for procedures.
- Coordinates examinations to support timeliness, quality, and continuity of care.
- Follows provider imaging orders and submits images and clinical information for interpretation.
- Evaluates image quality.
- Communicates effectively with patients, coworkers, radiologists, and leadership.
- Uses sterile technique and follows infection prevention policies.
- Handles multiple tasks and meets deadlines.
- Works effectively in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
- Uses computers and Microsoft Office Suite, and can learn position-related applications.
