RN Oncology Infusion Clinic
Location
- Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Schedule
- 10-hour shifts
- 40 hours per week
Overview
- Provides nursing care for adult oncology infusion patients in a hospital clinic setting.
- Responsibilities include administering chemotherapy and other medications, monitoring patients, documenting responses, assisting with procedures, patient education, and follow-up coordination.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oklahoma
- Oncology experience within the last year
- 1 year of oncology experience
- Experience in an outpatient setting
- Infusion experience
- At least 1 year of chemotherapy experience
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Current Basic Life Support certification issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- ONS/ONCC certification
Skills
- Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures
- Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services
- Ability to apply nursing techniques
- Ability to maintain good working relationships with other employees
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors
- Some computer skills
Preferred Education
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing or higher from a Board Approved Program
