RN Oncology Infusion Clinic

Location

  • Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks

Schedule

  • 10-hour shifts
  • 40 hours per week

Overview

  • Provides nursing care for adult oncology infusion patients in a hospital clinic setting.
  • Responsibilities include administering chemotherapy and other medications, monitoring patients, documenting responses, assisting with procedures, patient education, and follow-up coordination.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Oklahoma
  • Oncology experience within the last year
  • 1 year of oncology experience
  • Experience in an outpatient setting
  • Infusion experience
  • At least 1 year of chemotherapy experience
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Current Basic Life Support certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • ONS/ONCC certification

Skills

  • Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures
  • Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services
  • Ability to apply nursing techniques
  • Ability to maintain good working relationships with other employees
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors
  • Some computer skills

Preferred Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing or higher from a Board Approved Program
