Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Graduate of an accredited program in Respiratory Therapy
Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in New Jersey
Current and valid NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
Registered Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience)
Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
2-3 years of experience with long-term ventilator patients
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
PALS issued by American Heart Association

Key Responsibilities

Provide respiratory care therapy and supportive equipment under medical direction
Assist with intubation and ventilator setup and management
Evaluate patient needs and coordinate with other healthcare professionals as appropriate
Educate patients and caregivers
Document patient/caregiver education
