Surgical Tech 2 - Travel Position

Location: Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel - Clinical Allied Health
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

• Collaborate with the surgical team to provide patient care aligned with patient goals and hospital mission.
• Perform procedures across various surgical specialties requiring advanced knowledge and skills.
• Demonstrate higher-level collaboration with peers in surgical patient care decisions.
• Other duties as assigned.

Schedule

• Mid shift: 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM
• Monday through Friday
• No weekends, holidays, or on-call required
• 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist.
• Surgical Technologist experience within the last year.
• High School diploma or GED, or completion of one of the following:

  • Surgical Technologist Program
  • Military Training Program as an Operating Room Specialist
  • Froedtert Health sponsored Apprentice II Program
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or equivalent.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with orthopedic and total joint procedures.
• Experience with Da Vinci robotic surgical systems is preferred.

Additional Information

• This is a travel assignment requiring clinical allied health expertise.
• The role involves working in a variety of surgical specialties.
