CT Technologist

Schedule

  • 12-hour nights
  • Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
  • 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
  • No call
  • 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

  • Valid CT Technologist license in Florida
  • CT Technologist (2 years of experience)
  • CT Technologist experience within the last year
  • ARRT
  • BLS

Work Expectations

  • Works in the ER
  • Handles stroke, coronary, and trauma cases
  • Floating is required, and travelers are first to float, including to other sister campuses

Additional Notes

  • Prior travel experience is highly preferred
  • Radius rule: 50 miles from the facility
  • All requested time off must be submitted with the application
  • Hard document deadline is Monday before start date
  • No exceptions for pending documents

I was expected to float to another facility mid shift. No lab techs. Nursing was expected to draw labs and run them. At first it seemed overwhelming, then it seemed like we should have been reimbursed for having a new credential under our belt
