Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a busy ER supporting stroke, coronary, and trauma cases.

Details

  • 12-hour night shifts, Thursday through Saturday, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
  • No call requirements
  • Will work in the Emergency Room in addition to CT scan duties
  • High volume of stroke, coronary, and trauma cases
  • Floating required, with travelers prioritized to float first, including to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes of the facility

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
  • ARRT certification required
  • BLS certification required
  • FL license required if applicable
  • Prior travel experience highly preferred

Additional Information

  • Facility culture strongly emphasizes team integration, with travelers expected to function as core staff
  • Candidates must be flexible and willing to float to other units or campuses
  • Radius rule of 50 miles from the facility applies, strictly enforced
  • All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront, as RTO will not be approved after submission
  • Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to start, with no exceptions for pending documentation
  • First-time travelers may be considered

I was expected to float to another facility mid shift. No lab techs. Nursing was expected to draw labs and run them. At first it seemed overwhelming, then it seemed like we should have been reimbursed for having a new credential under our belt
