Number of Beds: 20
Staff: 40 (RNs and Patient Care Technicians)
Shifts:
- Day Shift: 1 Charge RN, 5 nurses, 3 PCTs
- Night Shift: 1 Charge RN, 5 nurses, 2 PCTs
Patient Ratio: 1:4
Equipment Used:
- Telemetry, transport monitors, suction, feeding pumps
- Trachs, BiPAP, CPAP, heated high flow
- Chest tubes, Foley catheters, pacer wires/pacers
- IV pumps, SCD pumps
EMR System: Meditech

Fast-paced and challenging cardiac unit at a cardiac center of excellence
High acuity patient population
Typical procedures:
- Chest tube placement and removal
- Removal of pacer wires
- 12-lead EKGs

License: Registered Nurse (RN) license required
Certifications:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- NIH Certification
Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN experience in Progressive Care Unit or cardiac care
Skills:
- Experience with drips including heparin, tikosin, diltiazem, amiodarone, nitro, Lasix, ketamine
- PCU and cardiac experience required

Candidates with additional relevant skills and experience will be considered first
