Job Opportunity: RN - Med Surg (Travel)

Job Details

• Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 (candidate to specify preference)
• Patient Population: Primarily adults
• Patient Ratio: 1:6 (with support staff including CNA, LPNs)
• Float Requirements: May be required to float within a 25-mile radius of the facility
• EHR System: MediTech

Required Certifications & Licenses

• BLS (Basic Life Support) - required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - a plus but not required
• HWC (Health Worker Certification)

Experience Requirements

• Years of Experience in Specialty: 2 years (higher value between 1-2 years indicated)
• Prior Travel Experience: Preferred but not required

Onboarding Requirements

• Must have Iowa SING Background Check cleared (including Criminal and Child Abuse portions) - no exceptions
• All background checks (counties and states) must be fully cleared prior to start (no instant or statewide searches accepted)
• Mandatory reporter certification required (Child and Adult)
• Drug test must be a 10-panel screening including opiates
• Titers must be from the last 12 months
• Start days allowed: Monday or Tuesday
