Cardiac Cath Lab Tech - Travel Position

Location: Margate, Florida

Unit Information

• Unit: Cath Lab
• Beds: 4 rooms, 1 patient per room
• Staff: 22 total (RNs and Techs)

  • Day Shift: 1 Charge RN, Director, 4 staff members per room (16 total)
  • Night Shift: On-call team, 3 per call team (7 total)
• Patient Ratio: 1:1
• Equipment: All GE rooms
• EMR Systems: Meditech and MacLab

Job Requirements

• Certifications Required:

  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • Cath Lab Tech Certification
  • ARRT (required)
• Experience Required: Minimum 2 years in Cardiac Cath Lab specialty
• Skills:

  • Competency in Special Procedures & GE Innova equipment
• Preferred:

  • RCIS certification

• Cardiac Cath
• Cerebellar angiograms
• Stents
• Balloons
• ENT Lab procedures
• Scrubbing

• Dress Code: Red & gray scrubs in Cath & EP Labs (unit scrubs allowed)

Contract Length

• 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
