Neuro RN

Overview

  • Travel RN position in Somerset, Kentucky
  • 13-week contract
  • Days shift
  • 36 guaranteed hours per week
  • Every other weekend required
  • No call required
  • Must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered travel
  • Orientation is weekly on Mondays
  • May be required to float within a 25-mile radius of the facility

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Kentucky
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NIHSS
  • ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
  • ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
  • Experience in an Acute Care setting
  • Neuro specialty experience

Facility Context

  • 295-bed acute care facility
  • Cardiac care and advanced neurosurgery program with Spine Center accreditation
  • 11-county service area in south central Kentucky
