Overview
- Travel assignment in Winchester, Virginia
- Unit: Therapeutic Radiology
- 1 opening
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Day shift: Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- No weekend requirements
- No on-call requirements
- Start date: not prior to Dec 7
Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiation Therapist license in Virginia
- Radiation Therapist (2 years of experience)
- Radiation Therapist experience within the last year
- BLS
- ARRT
Responsibilities
- Provides daily care of cancer patients and delivers radiation treatments according to the radiation oncologist’s prescription and instructions
- May perform simulations and provide clinical instruction for radiation therapy students
- Required during Brachytherapy procedures
- Assists in treatment planning procedures, including tumor localization and dosimetry
- Triage sick patients to nursing for evaluation
Preferred Experience
- Experience with the responsibilities listed above

- Equipment: Varian Truebeam and Phillips Big Bore CT Scanner
- EMR: EPIC
Dress Code
- Caribean Blue scrubs, or any solid matching top and bottom colors such as black top and black bottom
