Overview

• Travel assignment in Denver, Colorado
• 36 hours per week
• 13-week contract
• Shift: Monday through Wednesday, 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM
• Unit: CT Scan 3rd Floor
• Main hospital, 3rd floor

Required Qualifications

• CT Technologist with 6 months of experience
• CT Technologist experience within the last year
• ARRT (R)
• BLS
• Experience in an acute care setting
• IV insertion skills
• Experience with IV contrast injection

Preferred

• Trauma and Stroke
• IV skills

Unit Details

• 3 CT scanners, soon to be 4
• Staff includes 13 total: 8 FT, 1 PT, 3 PRN, and 1 transporter
• Day shift staffing includes 1 charge, 4 day techs, 2 mid-shift, and 1 transporter Monday through Friday
• Night shift staffing includes 2 techs
• Equipment includes GE Revolution 512 scanner, GE Evolution 128 scanner, GE 64 slice scanner in OP, and 128 GE Frontier
• EMR: Meditech

Typical Procedures

• Stroke, trauma, head and chest
• Abdomen/pelvis and CTA

• Close to Denver University and downtown Denver
• Close to mountains for year-round outdoor recreation
