Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Role Overview

• Travel RN position in the Emergency Room.
• Shift: 3x12, nights, 1900-0730.
• Weekly guaranteed hours: 36.
• Contract length: 13 weeks.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Nevada.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year.
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience.
• One 13-week or more of total travel experience.
• BLS issued by American Heart Association.
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association.
• TNCC or ENPC or PALS issued by American Heart Association.

Schedule / Assignment Notes

• Call requirements to be discussed during interview.
• May be required to float to the needs of the organization up to competency level.
• May be required to work major holidays.
• Required to pick up one additional shift during each 4-week schedule period.
• Schedule may include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts.
• Low-census call-off may occur without penalty for up to 48 hours per 13-week contract, including full or partial shifts.

Unit / Setting

• Emergency Room.
• 80 ER beds.
• Busy, fast-paced environment serving a 500-mile radius.
• Level II trauma center with volume and pace comparable to a Level I trauma center.
