25-bed unit
Patient ratio: 4-5:1
36 hours per week
13-week contract
Start date: 12/14

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Kansas
Telemetry experience within the last year
1 year of telemetry experience
ACLS
BLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred

48 hours guaranteed preferred

Unit Details

Primarily cares for renal, urology, oncology, pulmonology, cardiology, and general med surg patients
Floating may include Ortho, Neuro, CCU, CDU, SSU, Obs, and Rehab
Scheduling: at least every 3rd weekend, 3 shifts per week
Uses Meditech- EBCD
Equipment includes EKG, bladder scanner, sit to stand, hoyer lift, hover mat, Alaris pumps, and Pyxis

Additional Notes

Techs staff the unit as well
Focus on safety, quality, documentation compliance, and HAI-related processes
Basic MS procedures are performed on the unit
