Overview

Travel RN position in Indianapolis, Indiana
Floor/Unit: 3 West Post-Surgical
Specialty: Med/Surg, Post-Surgical
1 contractor needed for nights
Shift: 1900-0730, rotating days, 3 shifts per week
Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
Weekend/holiday rotation: every 3rd weekend, rotating holidays
No call
Contract length: 16 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Indiana
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
BLS
Med Surg (2 years of experience)
Med Surg experience within the last year
Experience with drains
Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

Post-Surgical experience
Med/Surg experience

34 beds
Patient ratio: 1:5
Equipment: Pyxis
EMR: Epic

Float Scope

Float to similar med surg units based on rotation and needs

Patient Population

Post-op patients from general surgery, including bariatric surgery
Overflow medical patients

Additional Details

Scrub color: Navy Blue
Education modules are assigned upon hire and must be completed before reporting to the floor
