Overview

• Travel assignment in Independence, Missouri
• 48 hours guaranteed is an option
• Start date: 11/30
• Schedule includes 3 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule

Unit

• 7N Cardiac Telemetry
• 36 beds
• Staffing includes day and night shift charge, RN/LPN, and PCT coverage
• Patient ratio: 4 to 5:1

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Telemetry (1 year of experience)
• Telemetry experience within the last year
• ACLS
• BLS
• Experience recovering post-cath patients (no sheath removal) and pacemaker placements
• Experience with stroke patients
• Experience with amiodarone drips
• Experience with Cardizem drips

Preferred Qualifications

• NIH

Floating

• Other telemetry departments, med-surg, PCU

Additional Details

• Equipment used on the unit includes Pyxis, Alaris pumps, and Welch Allen Vitals machines
• EMR: Meditech
• Grey scrubs for RNs
