Role

• Travel RN in Mother baby on the 3rd floor
• 1 opening
• Nights
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend, possibly less
• No call
• No float requirements

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in North Carolina
• Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• BLS
• ACLS
• NRP
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience working with Neonate patients
• Experience with couplet care
• Must be able to attend deliveries and catch newborns and recover them
• Experience with cesarean section
• OB/GYN experience

Preferred

• Prepping/PACU for c-sections

Unit Details

• 8 post partum beds
• Patient ratio: 1:3 couplets
• EHR: Paragon

Experience / Skills

• Couplet care
• Ability to attend deliveries and catch newborns and recover them
• Experience with post c-section patients

Patient Population

• Neonate
• Adults

• Antepartum and postpartum complications
• Vaginal delivery
• C-section delivery
