Required Qualifications

  • Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in Texas
  • CNMT or ARRT (NM)
  • BLS
  • TMB
  • Nuclear Medicine Technologist (1 year of experience)
  • Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience within the last year

Preferred Experience

  • Previous hospital experience
  • More than 2 years of experience

Work Setting

  • Nuclear Medicine unit in a 228-bed hospital
  • Day shift staffing includes 1 lead nuclear medicine technologist and 1 staff technologist
  • On-call coverage after 4:00 PM

Common Procedures

  • MPI stress test
  • Bone scans
  • HIDA scans
  • Brain death studies
  • Renal studies
  • Parathyroid studies
  • Lung perfusions

Schedule Expectations

  • Must be open to weekend call
  • Must be open to holiday call

Additional Notes

  • No floating
  • Dark gray scrubs
  • Uses Meditech and Merge
