Job Overview
- Travel RN position in Albany, New York
- 13-week contract
- 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New York
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- ACLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with Epic
Clinical Experience / Skills
- Care for medically delicate and surgically complex patients in a progressive critical care setting
- Experience with respiratory failure, sepsis, closed head injuries, multisystem organ dysfunction, endocrine disorders, complex trauma, and surgical complications
- Experience with antihypertensive drips, sedative and Narcan drips, thrombo-embolytics, arterial lines, CVP, EVD, ortho traction, infection prevention protocols, HFNC, BiPAP/CPAP, and oxygen-dependent patients
- Large-scale adult PCU experience and community hospital ICU experience are noted as helpful
Other Requirements
- Navy blue scrubs required
- Competency test required within 24 hours of submission
