Labor and Delivery RN

Location

  • Salt Lake City, Utah

Employment Type

  • Travel

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks

Schedule

  • PM shift
  • Flexible scheduling
  • No on-call requirement
  • Every other weekend
  • Up to 4 weekend shifts per month

Unit Details

  • Labor and Delivery unit
  • 18 beds
  • Patient ratio: 1:1 or 1:2
  • Floating may be required to postpartum

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Utah
  • Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
  • Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
  • ACLS
  • AWHONN
  • BLS
  • NRP
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

  • Epic charting experience
  • High-risk OB experience

Common Procedures / Patient Care

  • Inductions
  • Vaginal deliveries
  • C-sections
  • Antepartum care
  • High-risk OB care
  • Magnesium sulfate
  • Insulin drips

Work Environment

  • Hospital-laundered scrubs provided at the beginning of each shift
  • Dependable personality preferred
