Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- NIHSS
- Cardiac Rhythm Identification
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred
- BSN preferred
Unit Notes
- Travelers are required to float
- Weekend and call requirements are discussed during interview
- Meditech is used for documentation and medication scanning
- Unit procedures include CABG, general surgery, IABP, Impella, CRRT, therapeutic hypothermia, Rotoprone, and ventilation
Work Environment
- Navy scrub top and pants
- Navy or white scrub jacket
- Clean, neat grooming standards
- Visible piercings other than ears are not allowed
