Job Overview

Required Qualifications

Nuclear Medicine Technologist with 1 year of experience
Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience within the last year
NMTCB or ARRT (N)
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Bachelor's degree and graduation from a formal Nuclear Medicine training program
Experience in a hospital setting
Driver's License

Key Responsibilities

Perform nuclear medicine procedures, including patient preparation, positioning, radiopharmaceutical administration, and image acquisition
Review orders, schedule patients and department resources, and present completed procedures for interpretation
Perform quality control on nuclear cameras and radiopharmaceuticals
Document and process data in the Nuclear Medicine Information System and send images to PACS
Follow radiation safety, emergency procedures, and departmental protocols
Assist with patient transport, room/equipment preparation, and supply management
Participate in on-call and weekend coverage as needed, with expected arrival within 30 minutes when called in
