Registered Nurse - Med Surg

Location: Nashville, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36

Unit Information

Unit: 7 Tower, 33 beds
Patient Ratio: 5:1
Staffing: Charge nurse, RNs, techs, secretary
Documentation System: Meditechs
Scheduling: Every other weekend required; requests for time off are accommodated
Floating Policy: Travelers rotate floating duties as needed
Patient Experience: White boards must be filled out
Dress Code: Navy blue, black, royal blue, or any shade of gray scrubs

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee
Minimum 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
De-escalation skills in a healthcare setting
