Patient population: All ages (neonate through adult)

Position Details

Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days
Weekly Hours: 36 (guaranteed)
Weekend hours required
No call requirements
Unit: Cardiopulmonary Department (ICU, MedSurg, NICU ER)
Equipment used: PB980, EV300, Airvo
Patient ratios vary

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Washington
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, including experience within the last year
Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Respiratory Therapy
Certifications: ACLS, PALS, NRP, BLS
Experience working with neonate and adult patients

Additional Information

Dress code: Scrubs (any color), must wear scrubs
No float requirements
Must be located at least 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel status

Pros

This Cath Lab is only travelers at the moment and has locum doctors on rotation. Some days are very slow but there is also a couple IR doctors who does some easy procedures.

Cons

On call is currently 7 consecutive days on then you get 4 days off before going back on due to number of staff present.
