Registered Nurse (ICU) - Travel Position
Location: Albany, New York
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36
Job Description
- Must have prior travel experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Experience in Level I trauma center environments is highly preferred.
- Ability to float and provide care across multiple ICU settings, including:
- Neuro/Trauma SICU
- Medical ICU (MICU)
- Cardiopulmonary Services/Vascular ICU (CPS/VICU)
- Coronary Care Unit (CCU)
- Progressive Critical Care Unit (PCCU)
- ICU/PACU and Emergency Department patients awaiting bed placement
- Epic electronic medical record (EMR) experience is required.
- Navy blue scrubs are mandatory.
- Competency test must be completed within 24 hours of submission.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New York State.
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, including experience within the last year.
- Completion of at least one travel nursing assignment.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Emergency Department (ED), and Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
- Proficiency with Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system.
Additional Information
- Candidates from certain local counties are not eligible (effective 1/11/2024).
- Must be comfortable and competent in critical care nursing across various ICU units.
