Registered Nurse - Bone Marrow Transplant Oncology (Travel)
Location: Denver, Colorado
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information
- Unit Type: Med Surg / Telemetry
- Beds: 80-100 daily
- Staff: 37 RNs (full-time, part-time, PRN)
- Shift Coverage: Day shift (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM) with 2 Charge RNs, 1 Resource RN, 2 MAs, and 16-19 RNs assigned to patients
- Patient Ratios: Approximately 1:6, lower for higher acuity patients
- Equipment: Baxter IV pumps, ICU medical chemo adapters
- EMR System: Meditech and Onco
Job Description
- Specialty: Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) Oncology
- Typical Procedures:
- Chemotherapy administration
- Central line draws
- Unit Highlights:
- 15th largest transplant center nationally
- Participation in many phase 1/first-in-human clinical trials
- Growing CAR-T cell therapy program
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum 1 year of Bone Marrow Transplant experience, including experience within the last year
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional BMT/Hematology-Oncology experience
