Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical Telemetry

Location: Greenville, Ohio
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Work on a 24-bed Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit in a rural community hospital.
• Night shifts covering a mix of 8- and 12-hour shifts.
• Patient-to-nurse ratio typically 1:5, may increase to 1:6 depending on census.
• Must be able to read and interpret cardiac telemetry strips (assessment test on first day).
• Work schedule includes every other weekend and every other holiday.
• Shift length: 12 hours per day, approximately 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

• Current Ohio RN license.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
• Comfortable working in both Medical-Surgical and Telemetry settings.

Additional Information

• Prior travel experience is not specified as required.
• Experience with NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) is noted but not explicitly required.
