• Floating: No (assigned to either cath lab or IR only)

Job Description

• Work in Interventional Radiology department with 6 procedure labs
• Average 20-30 cases per day involving vascular, neuro, drains, and lines procedures
• Duties include scrubbing, passing supplies, setting up and taking down procedure rooms
• Use of EPIC electronic medical records and Phillips monitors
• Support staff includes 1 Patient Care Technician (PCT) and a Charge RN on shift (7:30 AM - 5:00 PM) who does not take patients but assists with cases and lunch coverage
• Orientation: 3-5 days specific to the unit/lab
• Scrub color and dress code provided

Required Certifications and Licenses

• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Active Illinois license or confirmation that application process has been initiated

Additional Requirements

• Must produce a negative drug screen for all panels (drug-free campus)
• Local placements accepted within a 50-mile radius of the facility

• Orientation includes 12 non-billable hours; guaranteed hours do not apply during orientation
• Call off policy allows equivalent of 12 hours off every 13 weeks without penalty or pay obligation
